Saimaza Ground Coffee Blend

Saimaza is a historic Spanish coffee brand founded in 1908 by Joaquín Sáinz de la Maza in Seville. It began as a small family business and grew to become one of the most recognized coffee brands in Spain, particularly known for its 'Mezcla' (blend) coffee.

Over the decades, the company transitioned from family ownership to being part of large global conglomerates. It was acquired by General Foods (later Kraft Foods/Mondelez) and currently belongs to JDE Peet's, which was formed from the merger of Jacobs Douwe Egberts and Peet's Coffee. While the roasting and packaging traditionally occurred in Spain, the parent company manages production across several European facilities to optimize global supply chains.
