Nugeta Polaritky

Nugeta is a classic brand deeply rooted in Czechoslovakian hazelnut cream history. It was originally launched by the Orion company, which has been a staple of the Czech and Slovak chocolate markets since the late 19th century. The Polaritky treats represent a popular variation within the Nugeta range, catering to local tastes for hazelnut-flavored sweets.

The manufacturing process primarily takes place in the Czech Republic, specifically at the Orion factory in Olomouc (Zora factory), which has long been the production hub for these regional specialties. This ensures the brand maintains its authentic taste and heritage profile.

In terms of corporate ownership, the Orion brand and its Nugeta product line were acquired by Nestlé in the early 1990s following the privatization of the Czechoslovak food industry. Today, Nestlé, the world's largest food and beverage company based in Switzerland, continues to manage the brand through its local subsidiary, ensuring its continued presence in Central European markets.
