The production facility was built from the ground up as a greenfield investment, utilizing state-of-the-art German technology to brew beer according to traditional purity standards while maintaining high efficiency. It has become a significant player in the Romanian domestic market, recognized for both its classic lager and various line extensions like Radlers.

The brand is owned by Romaqua Group, a major player in the Romanian FMCG sector. Romaqua Group is a privately held Romanian company that is primarily known for its mineral water brand, Borsec. Despite the German-sounding name intended to evoke brewing heritage, both the brand and its ultimate parent company remain entirely Romanian in ownership and operation.
