Heidi Milk Chocolate with Milk Filling

Heidi is a renowned chocolate brand founded in 1994 by Jürg Läderach, a member of the famous Swiss confectionery family, in Romania. The brand was established to bring high-quality, Swiss-inspired chocolate making traditions to Eastern Europe.

Today, Heidi remains a major producer of premium chocolates with its main production facility located in Pantelimon, near Bucharest, Romania. From this hub, it exports products to over 40 countries worldwide. The brand is well-known for its creative inclusions, hand-decorated bars, and seasonal items like the Easter-themed bunnies seen here.

In 2013, the Läderach family sold Heidi Chocolat to the Meinl family via their holding company, K控股 (K-H控股 or KAI Group) through the Meinl-owned conglomerate Julius Meinl am Graben. It is currently managed by the K-H Holding Group, which focuses on various premium food and beverage investments globally.
