Anamma plant-based food

Anamma is a Swedish brand specialized in plant-based food, originally founded in Simrishamn in the late 1990s. The brand was established to provide vegan alternatives to meat products, such as vegan mince, sausages, and burgers, and it has since become a dominant player in the Nordic market.

Today, Anamma products are primarily manufactured in Sweden, with a large production facility located in Eslöv. The brand has evolved from a small local startup into a major commercial success, focusing on sustainable and climate-smart food solutions.

In 2013, Anamma was acquired by the Orkla Group, a leading industrial conglomerate. It is currently managed under the Orkla Foods division. The brand continues to lead the plant-based sector in Scandinavia, backed by the extensive logistical and marketing resources of its Norwegian parent company, Orkla ASA.
