Club Premium Lager is a historic and iconic beer brand from Ghana, often referred to as the country's first manufactured product. It was first brewed in 1931 by Accra Brewery Limited (ABL), which was established by the Swiss-registered company Overseas Breweries Limited. As the first brewery in West Africa, ABL played a foundational role in the region's manufacturing industry.

Over the decades, ownership of the brand has evolved alongside the global brewing landscape. In 1997, the beverage giant SABMiller acquired controlling shares of Accra Brewery. Following one of the largest corporate mergers in history, SABMiller was acquired by Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) in October 2016.

Today, Club Premium Lager remains the flagship product of Accra Brewery PLC, which operates as a subsidiary of the Belgian-headquartered AB InBev. The beer is brewed locally in Accra, Ghana, using a blend of barley malt and locally sourced maize, maintaining its status as a quintessential symbol of Ghanaian national pride.
