Italia Zuccheri represents the only 100% Italian sugar supply chain, distinguished by its 'filiera corta' (short supply chain) approach. The brand was established to guarantee that every grain of sugar is grown, harvested, and processed entirely within Italy, supporting local biodiversity and agricultural heritage.

The brand is owned and operated by COPROB (Cooperativa Produttori Bieticoli), an Italian agricultural cooperative founded in 1962 in Minerbio, Emilia-Romagna. COPROB manages thousands of member farms across several Italian regions, ensuring that the production meets strict sustainability standards, often recognized by environmental organizations like Legambiente. Today, it stands as the sole remaining large-scale sugar producer in Italy, maintaining industrial facilities in Minerbio and Pontelongo.
