While the brand is an Australian retail subsidiary of Coles Group, the manufacturing of the physical Lithium CR2032 coin cells is typically outsourced to third-party manufacturers in China, consistent with the production of many lithium-ion and button cell battery components worldwide. The brand functions as a 'phantom label,' designed to look like an independent brand while remaining an internal proprietary line for Coles.
