NRG energy drink

NRG was an energy drink brand that gained significant visibility in the late 1990s. Originally created in Austria in 1996 by the company Energy 2000, the beverage was formulated with guarana extract to provide its stimulant effect. It was famously known for its distinctive green color and its high-profile presence in international motorsport.

Throughout its history, the brand was a notable sponsor in Formula 1, appearing on the cars of the Tyrrell and Arrows teams. Despite its early success and international distribution in the late 90s and early 2000s, the brand was eventually discontinued around 2008. It should not be confused with the American power utility conglomerate NRG Energy, Inc., which operates in the electricity and home services sector.
