Founded in 1969 by Anthony and Gillian Barker on their family farm in Geraldine, the brand began by producing elderberry wine before expanding into a wide range of fruit preserves, syrups, and dessert sauces. In 2015, the Barker family sold the business to the French-owned family company, Andros. Despite this change in ownership, the brand continues to operate from its original home in Geraldine, maintaining its primary manufacturing facility there to support the local economy and preserve the product’s authentic heritage.
