In 2013, the brand was acquired by Expur SA, a major player in the Romanian oilseed processing industry. Under Expur's management, the brand has maintained its position as a household staple. Expur itself is a key subsidiary of the French group Avril, an international agro-industrial group that specializes in oils and proteins.
