Sinalco Cola and Orange soft drink

Sinalco is a historic German beverage brand, famously known for being one of the oldest soft drink brands in Europe. It was created in 1902 by the chemist Friedrich Eduard Bilz and industrialist Franz Hartmann as Bilz-Brause before being renamed Sinalco (from the Latin 'sine alcohole' - without alcohol) in 1905. The brand is iconic for its 'Red Dot' logo and unique bottle shape.

Today, the brand is owned by the Hövelmann family through Sinalco International GmbH & Co. KG. While the core brand operations and a significant portion of production remain in Germany, Sinalco operates a franchise model globally, allowing local partners in various countries to manufacture the drinks according to the original German standards. In the DACH region, it remains a strong competitor to international soft drink giants, positioning itself as a traditional local alternative.
