The brand remains privately owned by the original founders through their company, Food Huggers LLC.

Food Huggers has expanded its product line to include glass storage containers and fabric bags, maintaining a focus on reducing food waste and single-use plastics. The company operates as a woman-owned B-Corp certified business, emphasizing environmental responsibility and ethical manufacturing practices across its global supply chain.
