Originally part of the Beiersdorf company, the brand transitioned through BSN medical (a joint venture between Beiersdorf and Smith & Nephew) before being acquired by Essity. Today, it is a staple in medical kits and pharmacies globally, known for its strong adhesion and durability. Manufacturing continues to be centered in Europe, particularly Germany, to serve the international medical market.
