KiMs is a prominent Danish snack brand that has been a household staple since the 1960s. Originally founded in Odense, Denmark, the brand began by selling peanuts but quickly expanded into the potato chip market. Today, the majority of KiMs products sold in Scandinavia are manufactured at their large production facility in Søndersø, Denmark.

While the brand has deep Danish roots, it is currently owned by the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla ASA. Orkla acquired the brand through its division Orkla Confectionery & Snacks, which manages several leading Nordic snack brands. This ownership structure ensures that while the products maintain their local Danish identity and manufacturing base, they are part of a massive international food and consumer goods network headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
