Pall Mall is one of the world's most recognizable cigarette brands, originally introduced in 1899 by the Butler & Butler company in the United States. The brand was named after the famous Pall Mall street in London and was initially marketed as a premium, high-class product. Over the decades, ownership shifted to the American Tobacco Company and later to RJ Reynolds within the US market.

Globally, including in Germany as shown in the image, the brand is owned and distributed by British American Tobacco (BAT). BAT is one of the world's 'Big Four' tobacco companies. For the European and German markets, manufacturing significantly takes place in large-scale facilities in Germany (such as in Bayreuth), though BAT operates a vast global network of production sites. The packaging shown features the German health warning 'Rauchen ist tödlich' and the BAT logo, indicating it is intended for the DACH region market.
