It is renowned for its preservation of traditional Galician agricultural products, most notably 'Grelos de Galicia' (turnip greens), which carry a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). The product is harvested and processed in the heart of Galicia to maintain the authentic flavor and texture typical of the region's culinary heritage.

While originally founded as an independent family cannery, A Rosaleira was eventually acquired by the Terras Gauda Group (Bodegas Terras Gauda). This strategic acquisition integrated the preserved food brand into a luxury portfolio of wines and gourmet products, ensuring its distribution across international markets while keeping its production and identity rooted in the Galician countryside.
