Coosur is one of Spain's most historic and recognizable olive oil brands, with roots dating back to 1941 when it was founded as 'Aceites Coosur' in the province of Jaén, the global heart of olive oil production. The brand specializes in the extraction and bottling of high-quality oils, leveraging the rich agricultural heritage of the Andalusia region.

Currently, the brand is owned by Acesur (Aceites del Sur-Coosur), a major Spanish agri-food group. Most of the production and bottling occurs in Spain, specifically in their facilities in Vilches (Jaén). Acesur remains a family-owned company headquartered in Dos Hermanas, Seville, led by the Guillén family, maintaining its status as a Spanish-owned global leader in the olive oil industry.
