Baci Perugina is an iconic Italian chocolate brand founded in 1922 in Perugia, Italy, by Luisa Spagnoli. The brand is famous for its dark chocolate truffles with a hazelnut filling and a whole hazelnut on top, accompanied by a 'love note' inside the wrapper.

The production is deeply rooted in its Italian heritage, with the main manufacturing plant still located in San Sisto, Perugia. While the brand originated as part of the Perugina company, it was acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé in 1988. Today, Nestlé continues to own and manage the brand globally, maintaining its status as a symbol of Italian artisanal chocolate-making while utilizing Nestlé's extensive international distribution network.
