Bud (Budweiser) Lager Beer

Bud, globally recognized as Budweiser outside of certain European territories, is an iconic American-style lager. The brand was originally created in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1876 by Adolphus Busch and Eberhard Anheuser, founders of the Anheuser-Busch company.

Today, the brand is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the world's largest brewing company. While its American roots remain central to its identity, the beer is produced in dozens of breweries globally. In the German market, it is often marketed simply as 'Bud' due to long-standing trademark disputes with the Czech brewery Budějovický Budvar.
