Birrificio del Ducato is a multi-award-winning Italian craft brewery founded in 2007 in Roncole Verdi, the birthplace of Giuseppe Verdi. Over the years, it gained international acclaim for its innovative brewing techniques and high-quality ingredients, particularly known for its flagship beer, 'ViaEmilia'.

While the brand maintains its creative roots in the province of Parma, its ownership structure transitioned significantly starting in 2016. The global brewing giant Duvel Moortgat initially acquired a minority stake, eventually moving to full 100% ownership in 2020. This partnership has allowed the brewery to expand its distribution globally while keeping its production facilities localized in Italy.
