Blake and Mortimer - La Vallée des Immortels comic book

Blake and Mortimer is a legendary Franco-Belgian comics series created by the Belgian writer and artist Edgar P. Jacobs. First appearing in 'Tintin' magazine in 1946, the series has become a cornerstone of the European 'ligne claire' (clear line) style of illustration. The product shown, 'La Vallée des Immortels' (The Valley of the Immortals), is a later addition to the series produced by continuing creators after Jacobs' passing.

The series is published by Éditions Blake et Mortimer, which is a subsidiary of the major French-Belgian publishing group Média-Participations. While the stories are originally Belgian in creation and spirit, the corporate ownership is headquartered in France, overseeing a vast portfolio of iconic comic characters.
