DeLorean DMC-12 sports car

The DeLorean DMC-12 is one of the most iconic vehicles in automotive history, primarily known for its role in the Back to the Future film trilogy. The car features a unique brushed stainless steel body and distinctive gull-wing doors.

Original manufacturing took place in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland, between 1981 and 1983. While the original DeLorean Motor Company went bankrupt shortly after production began, the brand name and remaining parts inventory were later acquired by a new entity based in Texas, USA, which operates as the current DeLorean Motor Company (DMC). This modern company focuses on servicing original vehicles and developing new electric vehicle concepts under the legendary brand name.
