Schwerter Senfmühle Mustard

Schwerter Senfmühle is a traditional German mustard brand originating from the town of Schwerte in Westphalia. Founded in 1845, it is one of the oldest mustard mills in Germany. The brand is famous for its historical manufacturing techniques, using stone mills to grind the mustard seeds slowly, which preserves the essential oils and flavor.

Today, the brand remains a family-owned artisanal operation. It was managed for a long time by the Adrian family (as seen on the label 'ehem. Adrian') and is currently owned and operated by Frank Peisert. The production remains localized in Schwerte, maintaining its status as a regional specialty with high-quality ingredients and traditional recipes.
