Pukka Wild Apple & Cinnamon herbal tea

Pukka Herbs is a renowned organic herbal tea brand founded in Bristol, United Kingdom, in 2001 by Tim Westwell and Sebastian Pole. The brand was built on the principles of Ayurveda and ethical sourcing, quickly becoming a global leader in the organic tea market.

While the brand maintains its British heritage and primary manufacturing roots in the UK, it underwent a major ownership change in 2017 when it was acquired by the multinational consumer goods giant Unilever. In 2021, Unilever announced the separation of its tea division, including Pukka, into a new standalone entity named ekaterra.

Starting in 2022, ekaterra was sold to the private equity firm CVC Capital Partners. The business now operates under the name LIPTON Teas and Infusions, which remains the ultimate owner of the brand. Despite these corporate transitions, Pukka continues to focus on its organic and sustainable mission from its base in the UK.
