Le Creuset is a world-renowned premium cookware brand, best known for its iconic color-enameled cast-iron pots. While the brand remains deeply rooted in its heritage in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France, where its signature cast iron products are still manufactured, the company has diversified its production for other product lines.

The Toughened Non-Stick (TNS) range, which includes the stirfry pan shown in the image, is engineered in France but primarily manufactured in China to meet specific technological requirements and global demand for non-stick surfaces. Despite the varying manufacturing locations depending on the material (cast iron in France, stoneware and non-stick elsewhere), the brand maintains strict quality control measures to ensure every piece meets its high standards for durability and performance.

Founded in 1925 by Armand Desaegher and Octave Aubecq, the company has grown from a local foundry into a global household name. Today, Le Creuset remains a private company under the ultimate ownership of Paul Van Zuydam, who acquired the brand in 1988 and has since overseen its expansion into more than 60 countries.
