Schneider Weisse Original Weissbier

Schneider Weisse is one of Bavarias most prestigious wheat beer brands, with a history dating back to 1872. Founded by Georg Schneider I, who purchased the right to brew wheat beer from King Ludwig II of Bavaria, the brand has remained a cornerstone of German brewing tradition for over 150 years.

The product is brewed exclusively in Kehlheim, Germany, at the Weisses Bräuhaus, which is the oldest wheat beer brewery in Bavaria. This location has been the production hub for the brand since the late 1920s when the family moved operations from Munich.

Ownership of Schneider Weisse has been maintained by the Schneider family for six generations. Unlike many other major German beer brands that have been acquired by multinational conglomerates, Schneider Weisse continues to be an independent, family-owned enterprise committed to traditional brewing methods and regional identity.
