Babaevsky Confectionery chocolate

This product is a confectionery item manufactured by the Babaevsky Confectionery Concern, one of the oldest and most prominent chocolate makers in Russia. The factory is located in Moscow, where it continues to produce a wide range of chocolate bars, pralines, and other sweets that have been staples in Russian culture for over two centuries.

Originally founded in 1804 by Stepan Nikolaev, the company became known as the Abrikosov & Sons factory before being nationalized after the Russian Revolution and renamed in honor of Pyotr Babaev. Today, the brand is part of the United Confectioners holding (Obiedinennye Konditery), which is the largest sweets producer in Eastern Europe.

Ownership of the United Confectioners Group is primarily controlled by the Guta Group, a Russian multidisciplinary investment holding. The products are manufactured within Russia and distributed both domestically and internationally to markets with high demand for premium Russian chocolate.
