Oro Saiwa Senza Glutine biscuits

Oro Saiwa is an iconic Italian brand of biscuits, originally created by the company Saiwa (Società Accomandita Industria Wafer e Affini), founded in Genoa in 1922. The brand became famous for its dry biscuits, specifically the 'Oro' line, representing a staple of Italian breakfast culture for decades.

Today, Oro Saiwa is manufactured primarily in Italy, specifically at the historic plant in Capriata d'Orba. Although the brand has deep Italian roots and remains very locally focused in terms of production and market presence, it is currently owned by the American multinational snack food company Mondelēz International. Mondelēz acquired the brand as part of its acquisition of the global biscuit business from Danone in 2007.
