Aral fuel and service station products

Aral is Germany's leading fuel brand, recognized by its iconic blue and white logo. Founded in 1924, it introduced the world's first super-fuel, a mixture of aromatics and aliphatic compounds, which gave the brand its name (AR-al). Since then, it has grown from a regional coal-tar refining business into a premium service station network.

In 2002, the brand was acquired by BP (British Petroleum). Since then, Aral has served as the retail face of BP in Germany and Luxembourg. While the energy products are processed in various refineries across Europe, the brand remains deeply rooted in German consumer culture, focusing on high-quality fuels and the PetitBistro convenience store concept.
