Luxaflex is a world-renowned brand specializing in custom-made window treatments, including blinds, shutters, and shades. Originally founded in Europe, the brand became a flagship label for Hunter Douglas. The company is credited with inventing the aluminum venetian blind in the late 1940s, which fundamentally changed the window covering industry. Since then, the brand has expanded its portfolio to include energy-efficient Duette shades and advanced motorized systems.

In early 2022, 3G Capital acquired a controlling interest in Hunter Douglas, which remains the parent company of Luxaflex. This acquisition transitioned the brand into the portfolio of a major global investment firm, while maintaining its headquarters in the Netherlands to oversee its extensive international operations and reach across across Europe, Australia, and Asia.
