Sandstrøm is a premium private label brand owned by the British multinational retailer Currys plc. While the brand is heavily marketed with a focus on Scandinavian design aesthetics, it was originally developed as an exclusive in-house brand for the Dixons Retail group (which later merged with Carphone Warehouse to become Currys) to compete with high-end consumer electronics.

In the Nordic region, including Denmark, Sandstrøm products are exclusively sold through Elgiganten, which is the local subsidiary of Elkjøp Nordic (a wholly-owned division of Currys plc). Manufacturing for Sandstrøm chargers and similar accessories is primarily outsourced to third-party electronic manufacturing service providers in China and Turkey, overseen by the Currys sourcing office in Hong Kong to ensure compliance with European safety and performance standards.
