Sveltesse I Love Kefir is a popular fermented milk drink marketed under the Nestlé corporate umbrella but managed through a unique strategic partnership. The brand was originally created by the Swiss multinational Nestlé to focus on light and low-fat dairy products. In 2006, Nestlé and the French dairy giant Lactalis formed a joint venture known as Lactalis Nestlé Fresh Products (LNFP).

Under this agreement, Lactalis holds a 60% majority stake and manages the operational side, including production and distribution, while Nestlé retains a 40% stake and provides the brand name and research expertise. In Italy, the product is distributed by Lactalis Nestlé Prodotti Freschi Italia S.r.l. While the brand is global, local production typically happens within the markets it serves to ensure freshness, with Italian distribution handled by the local Lactalis Nestlé subsidiary.
