Philadelphia Grilled Paprika cream cheese

Philadelphia is a world-renowned brand of cream cheese that was originally created in 1872 in the United States by William Lawrence. Despite its name, the cheese was actually first produced in New York state, but was named after the city of Philadelphia because it was viewed as a center of high-quality dairy production at the time.

Today, the brand's ownership is split between two major international food conglomerates. In North America, the brand is owned and marketed by Kraft Heinz. However, for the international market, including Europe and the product shown in this image (which features Swedish, Danish, and Finnish labeling), the brand is owned by Mondelēz International. This European version is primarily produced in Fallingbostel, Germany, which serves as one of the largest cream cheese manufacturing sites in the world.
