Maserati luxury automobile

Maserati is an iconic Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer established on December 1, 1914, in Bologna, Italy. Founded by the Maserati brothers—Alfieri, Bindo, Carlo, Ettore, and Ernesto—the brand has long been a symbol of Italian craftsmanship, performance, and elegance, notably represented by its famous trident logo.

Today, Maserati maintains its deep Italian roots with its primary production plants located in Modena, Cassino, and Turin (Grugliasco and Mirafiori). The brand has transitioned through various ownerships over the decades, including Citroën, De Tomaso, and Fiat. Currently, Maserati is a flagship luxury brand within the global automotive giant Stellantis N.V.

Stellantis, the ultimate owner, was formed by the 2021 merger between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the PSA Group. While the corporate headquarters of the parent company are located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the heart of Maserati's engineering and design remains firmly in Italy.
