Toddy is a heritage brand with a complex history spanning multiple continents. Originally created by Pedro Erasmo Madureira in Puerto Rico in 1930, the brand revolutionized the powdered drink market. It was later introduced to Brazil in 1933, where it became an iconic household name, known for its distinct flavor and its famous 'cow' mascot character.

Starting as an independent venture, the brand changed hands over decades. In 2001, through the global acquisition of Quaker Oats, PepsiCo became the ultimate owner of the brand. Today, Toddy is primarily a powerhouse brand in Latin America, particularly in Brazil and Argentina, where it is locally manufactured to meet regional consumer tastes. While it originated in Puerto Rico, its current logistical and corporate heart resides within the PepsiCo global infrastructure.
