OVS, originally known as Organizzazione Vendite Speciali, is Italy's leading retail fashion brand. Founded in 1972 as a division within the Coin Group, it revolutionized the Italian market by introducing the department store concept for value fashion. The brand is headquartered in Mestre, Venice, and has grown to become a dominant force in the fast-fashion sector.

While the brand's design, creative direction, and corporate strategy are anchored in Italy, the actual manufacturing is outsourced to a global network of suppliers. Production primarily takes place in countries such as Bangladesh, China, India, and Turkey, which is a common practice for large-scale fashion retailers to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.

Since 2015, OVS S.p.A. has been a publicly traded company on the Borsa Italiana. It successfully transitioned away from being a subsidiary of the Coin Group to become an independent entity that now owns other notable brands like Upim and Stefanel. The company is owned by a mix of institutional investors and private equity, with Tamburi Investment Partners (TIP) being a significant shareholder.
