Baci Perugina is an iconic Italian chocolate brand originally created in 1922 by Luisa Spagnoli in Perugia, Italy. The name 'Baci' translates to 'kisses' in Italian, and the hazelnut-centered pralines are famous for the small love notes found inside the silver and blue foil wrappers.

While the brand maintains its deep Italian heritage and continues to manufacture its chocolates primarily in the historical San Sisto factory in Perugia, it is owned by a global conglomerate. In 1988, Nestlé acquired the Buitoni-Perugina group, bringing the brand under the umbrella of one of the world's largest food and beverage companies. Despite the Swiss ownership, Nestlé has positioned Baci as a premium Italian export, maintaining its traditional recipe and manufacturing base in Italy.
