Goppion Caffè Nativo organic fairtrade coffee

Goppion Caffè Nativo is a premium 100% Arabica coffee blend, primarily sourced from Central American plantations and roasted in Italy. The brand is deeply rooted in the Venetian roasting tradition, originating from a small café opened by Luigi Goppion in Lughignano in 1859. The modern industrial roasting operation was established in 1948 in Treviso after the Goppion brothers acquired 'Torrefazione Trevigiana Caffè'.

The 'Nativo' line is notable for being one of the first Fairtrade and organic certified coffees in Italy, launched in the late 1980s and 1990s as a result of a collaboration with fair trade organizations. The product is manufactured at the company's historical and modern plant in Preganziol, near Treviso, Italy. The brand remains entirely family-owned and is currently managed by the fourth and fifth generations of the Goppion family, maintaining its status as an independent, heritage-driven Italian coffee producer.
