Krušovice Royal Pale Lager

Krušovice is one of the oldest and most prestigious Czech beer brands, with a history dating back to 1581. Often referred to as the 'Royal Brewery,' it gained its title when it was purchased by Emperor Rudolf II in 1583. The brewery has long been a symbol of Czech brewing excellence, utilizing traditional ingredients such as Saaz hops and mineral-rich water from local forests.

While the brand maintains its traditional Czech identity and production at its original site in Krušovice, its ownership has transitioned through various stages, including state ownership during the communist era. In 2007, it was acquired by the Dutch brewing giant Heineken N.V. Today, the brand remains a significant part of the Heineken portfolio, benefitng from global distribution while retaining its heritage-focused manufacturing in the Czech Republic.
