Bollé Safety Glasses

Bollé was founded in 1888 by Séraphin Bollé in Oyonnax, France, initially crafting hair combs and ornaments from horn and local materials before pioneering nylon and plastics molding. Over the decades, Bollé evolved into a global leader in protective and sports eyewear, sunglasses, and ski goggles, developing specialized divisions including Bollé Safety.

In 2018, Bollé Brands (including Bollé, Bollé Safety, Cébé, and Serengeti) was acquired from Vista Outdoor by A&M Capital Europe (AMCE), a European middle-market private equity firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. Bollé designs its eyewear in France, while manufacturing takes place in various specialized facilities worldwide, notably in Taiwan, China, and France.
