Regis is a well-known American hair care and salon brand owned and operated by Regis Corporation. Founded in 1922 by Paul and Florence Kunin as Kunin Beauty Salon in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the company was purchased by their son Myron Kunin in 1958 and renamed Regis.

Over the decades, Regis Corporation grew into one of the largest salon operators in the world, managing and franchising recognizable salon banners such as Supercuts, SmartStyle, Cost Cutters, and Roosters, alongside proprietary and co-branded professional salon hair care lines.
