Motonet is a well-known department store chain specializing in automotive spare parts, tools, leisure equipment, home improvement, and outdoor goods. Founded in Finland in 1990 in Turku, Motonet has expanded significantly across the Nordic region, including opening large-format department stores and e-commerce operations in Sweden.

Motonet is owned by the Finnish family-owned conglomerate Broman Group Oy, which acquired the chain in 2007. Broman Group is one of the leading automotive retail and wholesale operators in Finland. In Sweden, operations run under the local subsidiary Motonet AB.

While Motonet acts primarily as a retailer stocking international and Nordic brands, its private-label and retail offerings originate from multiple countries worldwide, spanning European manufacturers as well as Asian production hubs.
