The So Good brand was developed by the Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing Company (originally known as the Sanitarium Health Food Company), which was founded in Melbourne, Australia in 1898. Sanitarium pioneered plant-based and wholefood nutrition in Australia and New Zealand, launching the So Good brand in the late 1980s originally as a soy milk line before expanding into almond, oat, and coconut plant-based beverages.

Manufacturing & Ultimate Ownership

Sanitarium manufactures its plant milk products primarily in Australia (notably at facilities in Berkeley Vale, New South Wales). Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing is wholly owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and operates as part of the South Pacific Division of the church organization.
