Weber's Hamburgers Charcoal-Broiled Patties

Weber's (often referred to as Webers) is an iconic Canadian road-trip landmark and food brand originating along Highway 11 near Orillia, Ontario. Founded in 1963 by Paul Weber Sr., the roadside hamburger stand grew famous for its charcoal-grilled hamburgers, thick milkshakes, and the iconic footbridge crossing the highway. Due to massive regional popularity, Weber's expanded its classic charcoal-broiled patties into grocery store freezer aisles across Ontario and Canada.

In 2004, the Weber family sold the landmark restaurant business and brand rights to a group of local Ontario entrepreneurs led by Tom Rennie. The retail line of pre-cooked, charcoal-broiled frozen hamburger patties is produced in Ontario, Canada, allowing consumers across the country to enjoy the classic cottage-country staple at home.

Note that this Canadian food brand is distinct from Weber Inc., the prominent American manufacturer of outdoor barbecue grills and cooking accessories, as well as Webber Naturals, a Canadian dietary supplement brand owned by Factors Group.
