Pure Evoke D2 Digital Radio

Pure is a British consumer electronics manufacturer founded in 2002 as a division of Imagination Technologies Group plc, focusing primarily on digital audio broadcasting (DAB/DAB+) and internet radios. The brand pioneered affordable, high-quality digital radios in the UK and European markets, known for models like the Evoke series.

In 2016, Imagination Technologies sold Pure to the Austrian AV technology group AVenture AT GmbH. Later, in 2024, AVenture sold the Pure brand and business to the German audio manufacturer Sonoro audio GmbH, based in Neuss, Germany. Sonoro now operates Pure as an independent audio brand within its portfolio.

Like many consumer electronics brands, Pure designs and engineers its audio devices in Europe (originally the UK and Germany), while manufacturing is outsourced to specialized electronics production facilities in China.
