The brand name for televisions and related accessories in the European market is currently licensed to the Technicolor Group (now Vantiva), while companies like TCL Technology and Strong (a subsidiary of Skyworth) often handle the production and distribution under the Thomson label. Ownership of the brand rights remains with Technicolor/Vantiva, a French multinational company.
