Løgismose dairy and gourmet food products

Løgismose is a renowned Danish gourmet brand that originated at Løgismose Castle on the island of Funen. Founded in 1965 by Sven and Lene Grønlykke, the brand began with a vision to improve the quality of food culture in Denmark, initially focusing on wine imports and later expanding into high-quality dairy and poultry production.

Today, the brand is widely recognized for its premium dairy products, particularly its signature summer buckthorn yogurt and organic poultry, which are staples in Danish supermarkets like Netto. The manufacturing remains primarily centered in Denmark, utilizing local ingredients and traditional craftsmanship to maintain its artisanal reputation.

In terms of ownership, Løgismose underwent a significant transition in 2015 when it merged with Meyers to form Løgismose Meyers. In 2023, the ownership shifted again when the private equity firm West Hill Capital sold the group. Currently, Løgismose is owned by the Danish holding company Halberg A/S, a family-owned investment firm based in Svendborg, ensuring the brand remains under Danish stewardship while continuing its legacy of culinary excellence.
