Stimorol Strong Peppermint chewing gum

Stimorol is one of the most iconic chewing gum brands in Northern Europe, particularly known for its sugar-free peppermint varieties. Originally launched in Denmark in 1956 by the company Dandy, the brand was created to provide a long-lasting minty experience, which is reflected in its name – a combination of the words 'stimulation' and 'oral'. For decades, it was a staple of Danish industrial pride, produced in the town of Vejle.

Over the years, the brand's ownership has transitioned from its Danish roots to global confectionery giants. In 2002, the Dandy company was acquired by Cadbury-Schweppes, which later became part of Kraft Foods and subsequently Mondelēz International. As of 2023, the brand is owned by Perfetti Van Melle, an Italian-Dutch multinational, which acquired Mondelēz's developed-market gum business. Today, while the brand retains its strong Nordic identity, manufacturing occurs at various Perfetti Van Melle production facilities across Europe.
