The Kwark Nature product shown is a plant-based alternative to traditional dairy quark, formulated with soy to provide high protein content.

Over the years, Alpro has transitioned through different owners, including the American WhiteWave Foods. In 2017, the brand was acquired by the French multinational Danone as part of their strategy to expand into the health and plant-based sectors. Today, Alpro products are manufactured in various locations across Europe, including major production facilities in Belgium (Wevelgem), France, and the United Kingdom, ensuring a wide distribution network under Danone's global leadership.
